Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Service Engineer to install, maintain and repair marine electrical and mechanical equipment on board vessels.

Main Responsibilities

  • Installation, Maintenance and Repair: Install, maintain and repair marine electrical and mechanical equipment on board vessels and at company premises/workshops. Commission and troubleshoot marine electrical and mechanical equipment.
  • Travel and Documentation: Travel on short notice to vessels within the region and occasionally worldwide. Ensure valid travel documentation is maintained.
  • Quality and Safety: Adhere to customer Quality and Safety procedures; report unsafe practices or incidents.
  • Reporting and Communication: Complete and submit Service Certificates and obtain customer sign-off. Prepare detailed Service Reports.
  • Sales and Support: Recommend spare parts and service solutions to customers. Communicate sales opportunities and provide onsite and remote technical support.

Requirements

  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge in marine electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Experience: Prior experience with marine boilers and related systems is preferred.
  • Travel Documents: Valid travel documents and certifications for international travel.
