A Project Manager - Curtain Wall Specialist plays a pivotal role in the successful execution of construction projects by overseeing the installation of curtain wall systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervising Installation Crews: Directing and overseeing the work of curtain wall installation teams, ensuring they follow approved drawings and work instructions.
- Coordinating with Project Managers and Other Stakeholders: Liaising with project managers, subcontractors, and other trades to ensure smooth project execution and timely completion.
- Enforcing Safety Protocols and Regulations: Conducting site inspections to identify and rectify potential hazards, and ensuring that all workers are using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintaining Workmanship Standards: Monitoring workmanship to ensure it meets project specifications and quality standards, conducting regular inspections, and addressing any quality issues that arise.
- Maintaining Accurate Records: Recording daily progress, materials used, and any issues encountered during installation, including site reports, safety reports, and other relevant documentation.
- Providing Technical Support: Addressing technical issues that arise during the installation process, providing solutions, and offering guidance to the installation team.
- Ensuring Material Availability: Coordinating deliveries and managing material storage to ensure that the necessary materials are available on site.
