Job Title: Project Engineer

Manage audio-visual projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion, within budget and meeting quality standards.

  • Work collaboratively with clients and contractors to understand project needs and goals.
  • Conduct site visits to create accurate project plans and scopes.
  • Design and set up AV systems, including audio, video and control systems based on client requirements.
  • Integrate AV systems smoothly into existing setups working closely with internal teams and subcontractors.
  • Track project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders addressing any issues or delays promptly.
  • Ensure all project phases adhere to industry standards, safety regulations and company policies.
  • Offer technical support and training to clients post-project handover ensuring seamless operation of AV systems.
  • Perform regular maintenance to prevent system failures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing project strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams to integrate AV systems into existing infrastructure.
  • Providing expert technical advice to clients on AV system design and installation.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyzing project data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, AV Technology or a related field.
  • Experience in project engineering or management especially in the AV sector.
  • Strong technical understanding of AV systems, installation and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and techniques.
  • Ability to solder for audio and video connections.
