Job Title: Power Plant Operations Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate power plants efficiently and safely, adhering to established procedures and requirements.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of operational parameters, controls, and safety interlocks to optimize plant performance.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues with plant process conditions, analyzing and testing as necessary to resolve problems efficiently.
  • Effectively manage and control plant processes from the control room using DCS systems.
  • Document plant operating data and report any defects or abnormalities promptly.
  • Implement isolation/normalization of equipment as required by the Permit To Work System.

Required Qualifications:

  • Diploma/NITEC degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • 2-3 years of relevant working experience in a Power Plant, preferably on a CCPP or Process Plant.
  • Experience in technical aspects of Power Plant or Process Plant maintenance.
  • Able to perform 12-hour rotating shift-work pattern.
