Pricing Analyst

As a key member of the Pricing team, you will provide critical support to senior actuarial colleagues across various Pricing activities, helping us win and maintain profitable business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support senior actuarial colleagues with quote work by processing, analyzing, and interpreting data, conducting research, understanding the task context, and making recommendations.
  • Document relevant considerations, including in pricing papers, demonstrating thought processes under senior guidance.
  • Assist in experience reviews for in-force treaty reviews, including data collation, analysis, and documentation of results.
  • Suggest and support process, tools, model, and documentation improvements within the Pricing team, including challenging current practices.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing timely updates within the team.
  • Develop internal relationships within and across teams.
  • Maintain a good understanding of the markets in which our business operates.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 2-4 years of experience in (re)insurance, with significant Pricing or Valuation experience.
  • Studying for actuarial exams and progressing towards fellowship of a professional actuarial body.
  • Experience with Prophet, MoSes, Tyche, or similar modelling platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and deliver tasks on time.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders in Actuarial and non-Actuarial teams.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.
