Sites Operations Supervisor

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sites Operations Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the general manager in various aspects of factory or outlet operations, including interviewing, selecting, training, supervising, counseling, and disciplining staff.

The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide staff towards improvement. They will also possess strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels.

  • Assist the general manager in conducting interviews, making hiring decisions, and implementing training programs to ensure staff are equipped with the necessary skills to perform their roles effectively.
  • Supervise and coordinate daily operations, ensuring that checklists, requisitions, and opening and closing procedures are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Monitor staff performance, provide constructive feedback, and implement corrective actions as needed to improve overall performance.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with employees, management, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operational processes.
Key Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or management position within a manufacturing or retail environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide staff towards improvement.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
  • Familiarity with computerized systems and data entry software.
