Role Overview

This position plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our desalination plant.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the operations team, ensuring that all tasks are completed in accordance with company policies and procedures.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional with a degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering, who has knowledge and experience in Water Plant operations using membranes.

The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Liaising with PUB on dispatch of drinking water
  • Daily plant availability and dispatch instruction compliance
  • Liaise with PUB on water quality and reporting
  • Manage operations team
  • Ensure operations as per SOPs and safe work procedures
  • Coordinate with Maintenance team on plant/process optimization and improvement
  • Handle Administrative and procurement matters for plant operations
  • Operational planning, including manpower and chemical logistics
  • Participate as member of the water safety team and emergency response team
  • Disseminate information and instructions to operations team
  • Coordinate training for operations team
  • Troubleshoot for process upsets
