Cargo Maintenance Specialist
As a Cargo Maintenance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize efficiency.
- Coordinate and execute preventive maintenance programs to guarantee optimal performance.
- Supervise technicians on shift duty and ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
- Initiate and manage minor and major repairs, replacements, and overhauls of equipment, plant, and facilities to mitigate disruption to operations.
- Respond promptly to troubleshoot, rectify, and reactivate equipment, plant, and facilities.
- Verify accuracy of computer daily job sheets and timekeeping records.
- Monitor and review work methods, conditions, and housekeeping practices to maintain a safe working environment.
- Inspect and verify that workshop equipment are in good working condition.
- Identify and verify parts for replacement beyond economical repair (BER).
Requirements:
- Vocational/ITE certificate or equivalent in Building Maintenance is essential.
- Previous experience in servicing, inspection, repair, and maintenance of equipment, plant, and facilities is advantageous.
- LTA Class 3 driving license is mandatory.
