Electrical Systems Engineer Job Opportunity

As an Electrical Test Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the team with electrical testing and commissioning of electrical systems.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and experience working on electrical test support projects.

  • Key Responsibilities:

    • Attend site surveys, meetings, and discussions with clients, contractors, and sub-contractors to provide feasible solutions and coordinate with owners, users, consultants, vendors, and contractors on engineering functional requirements.
    • Prepare reports and method statements as necessary, performing all electrical works in adherence to regulations under the supervision of the Lead Electrical Engineer.
    • Assist the Lead Electrical Engineer in carrying out regular site inspections on LT and HT installations to ensure effective implementation of maintenance programmes in strict compliance with instructions and guidelines.
    • Standby and partner with the Lead Electrical Engineer in attending to emergency call-up services at customer installations, investigating and determining the root cause of faults, and reporting where applicable.
    • Interpret basic schematics and SLD diagrams, take on a Specialist Equipment role, and receive specialised training to provide training to internal staff.

  • Requirements:

    • A minimum Diploma in Electrical Power Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
    • At least one year's experience in an electrical engineering environment.
    • Training provided.

Additionally, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in data analysis, working closely with the engineering team to understand the operation of various electrical equipment and systems, participating in-house training sessions or workshops, and collaborating with team members to share insights and knowledge.
