Trade Compliance Professional

The position entails developing and enforcing global trade compliance policies, procedures, and best practices. Key responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional departments to implement Customs and Trade initiatives, providing training as required, and overseeing the classification of goods for imports and exports.

  • Develop and implement trade compliance policies and procedures globally, ensuring alignment with local laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete Customs and Trade projects, including import and export controls, Denied Party Screening, and Country of Origin determinations.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential trade compliance issues and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Manage free trade agreements and ensure their applicability to ZOLL's operations.
  • Monitor emerging and changing trade regulations, advising senior management on implications for the business.
  • Assist with interactions with government entities globally, including Customs authorities, audits, and normal value reviews.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 5+ Years of Relevant Experience in Customs and Trade required.
  • Extensive Export Experience, particularly in Africa, Asia, and South America, is essential.
  • Oracle Cloud experience is a bonus.
