About Our Pastry Team Member Role:

We are seeking a skilled Pastry Specialist to join our team As a key member of our pastry department, you will be responsible for creating visually stunning and delicious pastries and desserts for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare all pastry ingredients with precision and accuracy.
  • Produce a variety of pastries and desserts, including mousse cream, batter, knee tart, pie cookies, and cakes.
  • Layer and decorate pastries and cakes to meet presentation specifications.
  • Follow recipes and presentation guidelines set by the Pastry Chef.
  • Assist in stocktaking of ingredients and products neatly and cleanly.
  • Store and/or package ingredients, utensils, supplies, and equipment.
  • Maintain high standards of personal hygiene, sanitation, cleanliness, and safety in the kitchen.
  • Perform any ad-hoc duties assigned by management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrate knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Show strong communication skills.
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to changing menus and customer preferences.
  • Show attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and presentation guidelines.
