Electrical Design Specialist
Job Description:- We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Design Specialist to join our team.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting electrical building services drawings using AutoCAD and BIM software, including Revit MEP.
- They will also develop electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, lighting layouts, power distribution layouts, cable routing, and detail design drawings.
In addition to these responsibilities, the ideal candidate will be able to prepare and coordinate BIM models for electrical systems to integrate with other disciplines, including Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, and Architectural.
Furthermore, they will perform clash detection, resolve design discrepancies, and update BIM models throughout project stages.
This role requires strong attention to detail and design accuracy, as well as effective communication skills and a positive working attitude.
Requirements:- A diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.
- Experience in drafting and design for Electrical building services, including Commercial, Industrial, or Residential projects, is essential.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and BIM/Revit MEP is necessary, with knowledge of Navisworks an advantage.
- Familiarity with local electrical codes, standards, and authority submission requirements is also important.
