We are seeking an experienced professional to lead operational work under the Total Workplace Safety and Health (TWSH) initiative. The ideal candidate will support the Chair of the TWSH Oversight Committee and Portfolio Lead for TWSH to align practices and policies across various institutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and oversee the implementation of workplace safety and health policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with national safety regulations and standards.
2. Manage operational dashboards for entire clusters, working with respective institutions to develop and track key performance metrics for reporting to senior leadership.
3. Represent the cluster as a member of the Community of Practice for Healthcare WSHOs under the WSH Council.
4. Support and guide institutions' efforts in achieving and maintaining bizSAFE Level 3 certification or ISO45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System.
5. Act as a liaison between institutions to ensure consistent implementation of policies and standards.
6. Organize and facilitate inter-institutional meetings and workshops to promote best practices and knowledge sharing.
7. Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits across all institutions.
8. Attend RHSO and/or any other institutions' WSH Committee meetings as Advisor.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum bizSAFE Level 2 certification or equivalent.
3. Preferably a registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM).
4. Preferably experience in ISO 45001 & BizSafe Level 3 certification and implementation.
5. At least 5 years of experience in a senior healthcare role.
6. Ability to effectively engage with diverse audiences.
7. Strong organizational and project management skills.
8. Strong ability to translate workplans into implementation with multiple stakeholders.
9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
