About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Civil Tunnelling Manager to join our team at RANDSTAD PTE. LIMITED. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing and supervising tunnel construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) tunnelling teams to ensure that works meet statutory requirements and are completed to the highest standards.
  • Formulate work procedures and dismantle activities to ensure efficient and safe tunnel construction.
  • Plan and schedule manpower and plant for tunnelling works, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Resolve on-site issues and emergencies, demonstrating strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
Requirements
  • Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in the construction industry, with at least 5 years of supervising large tunnel operations (diameter > 10M).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams.
  • Experience with slurry TBM operations and tunnel design.
  • Tunnelling design experience will be an advantage.
