Job Opportunity: Dental Surgery Assistant cum Receptionist

We are seeking an enthusiastic and multi-skilled dental surgery assistant to join our dynamic team at a leading dental practice in Singapore. As a dental surgery assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our dental professionals and ensuring the smooth running of our dental practice.

About the Role

This is a full-time position with a 5.5-day work week. As a dental surgery assistant, your responsibilities will include assisting dentists during dental procedures, sterilizing and maintaining dental equipment, greeting patients, managing appointment scheduling, and handling patient inquiries and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Assisting dentists during dental procedures by handing instruments, mixing materials, and managing the clinical environment
  • Sterilizing and maintaining dental equipment, instruments, and supplies
  • Greeting patients, managing appointment scheduling, and handling patient inquiries and administrative tasks
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring confidentiality of patient information
  • Supporting the dental team in various other duties as required
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a dental surgery assistant or in a similar healthcare support role
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients and the dental team
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities to handle various responsibilities effectively
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of sterilization and infection control
  • A genuine interest in the dental industry and a desire to contribute to the wellbeing of our patients
