Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Asset Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of the department's fixed assets, handling procurement matters, and providing secretarial support to the Director.

Responsibilities
  1. Maintain accurate records of the department's fixed assets and comply with NUS financial policies and guidelines, including asset tagging, system updates, asset verification, retirement, and disposal.
  2. Carry out secure data wipeout from IT equipment to be disposed of and comply with NUS IT guidelines.
  3. Liaise with the vendor for disposal of assets and items.
  4. Raise Purchase Orders and Service Requests using Ariba system for the department's procurement.
  5. Liaise with Office of Finance (Fixed Assets) for creation of Asset IDs, where applicable.
  6. Liaise with vendors for Delivery Orders, service works, invoices, and perform Goods Receipt.
  7. Liaise with Central Procurement Office for Direct Contracting, Invitation to Quote, Invitation to Tender, etc.
  8. Provide secretarial support to Director (Instructional Technology) and managers, including scheduling of meetings, visits/events.
  9. Perform other administrative tasks.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Diploma holders with at least 3 years' working experience in a similar capacity / Degree holder may apply.
  • Good spoken and written communication skills.
  • Well-organized, meticulous, and resourceful.
  • Effective team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Positive work attitude and able to handle tasks independently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
