As a key player in the renewable energy sector, we are seeking an experienced engineer to join our team.

Job Description

This is a high-profile opportunity to lead the design process for solar power projects from conceptualization to implementation.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams, including project managers, professional engineers, and contractors, to ensure the successful execution of solar energy projects.

The expertise required will be pivotal in optimizing solar system designs and ensuring compliance with engineering standards.

  • Lead the design and engineering review process for EPCs' master document list submission.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external EPCs to integrate solar PV systems with existing infrastructure and building designs.
  • Handle structural design submissions to HDB for SolarNova projects and ensure they meet all rules and requirements.

The role requires a strong background in electrical engineering, civil/structural engineering, or a related field, with a proven track record in the design and engineering of solar power systems.

The candidate should be familiar with local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes in Singapore.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, as well as effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

They will be able to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The following qualifications are required:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, civil/structural engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in the design and engineering of solar power systems, preferably in the construction industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of solar PV technologies, components, and system configurations.
  • Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes in Singapore.
