Job Title:

As a Construction Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient execution of lifting operations.

  • Permit to Work System and EHS Management
  • Incident Investigation & Corrective Action
  • Weekly crawler crane Boom down inspection with CAG, check crane condition, wire rope, mast, crawler track, Load chart, lifting plan, most of the Lifting activity monitoring & supervision, record keeping, maintenance checking, LG and LM validation, data logger records.
  • Monthly equipment checks prior issue of the monthly tags for usage of machinery on site
  • Facilitate a work environment that supports a safe and healthy culture and equip with an in-depth understanding of the roles and responsibility of the Appointed Person and will enable to prepare and implement safety system of work for lifting operation.
  • Conduct/coordinate lifting operation in the area such as safety rules and regulations, hazardous condition monitoring, and use of safety equipment.

Requirements:

  • At least an engineering diploma holder with 5 years of experience in Construction Operations
  • Attained IES/SHETC Appointed Person for Lifting Operation certification is mandatory for this position
  • Experience in Rail projects with hands-on in required submission matters will be added advantage
  • Be dynamic, self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with a proven track record in the construction industry.
  • Other pre-requisites are excellent team spirit, strong technical competence, good interpersonal skills and with a 'can-do' attitude.
