Job Responsibilities

Hunters International Sdn Bhd is seeking a highly skilled Quantum R&D Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our quantum computing team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing automation tools for qubit calibration.

  • Develop and Implement Automation Tools: Design, develop, and implement automation tools to streamline qubit calibration processes, ensuring high accuracy and efficiency.
  • Apply Machine Learning Techniques: Utilize machine learning algorithms to optimize calibration processes, improve qubit performance, and drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with Quantum Physicists and Engineers: Work closely with our quantum physics and engineering teams to integrate calibration solutions into our quantum hardware, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Work Independently and in Teams: Demonstrate the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
Job Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with 4-7 years of job experience.
  • Background in Quantum Computing: Proven experience in quantum computing and familiarity with qubit calibration methods.
  • Programming Skills: Strong proficiency in Python/C++ programming languages.
  • Graph Theory and Machine Learning: Solid understanding of graph theory and its applications, as well as experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
  • Optimization Techniques and HPC: Knowledge of optimization techniques and high-performance computing (HPC) algorithms.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Ability to work in a collaborative environment, develop teamwork among individuals, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Results-Oriented and Adaptable: High tolerance for ambiguity, results-oriented, meets timelines, handles pressure while working positively in a collaborative manner.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive Learning: Willingness to learn proactively and adapt to new technologies and processes.
Remuneration

Hunters International Sdn Bhd offers a competitive salary package, including a base salary of SGD 6,000.
