Executive, Centre for Research in Child Development (CRCD)

This 3-year contract position may be renewed depending on the Institute's needs and the individual's performance. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to Principal Investigators in human resource, procurement and finance matters to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

  • Assist in HR processes including hiring, appointment of consultants, onboarding and staff development.

  • Offer logistical and administrative assistance for symposiums, meetings, retreats and other events.

  • Participate in the procurement process, including processing goods receipts and maintaining accurate records.

  • Handle office operations including mail distribution and safekeeping of resources.

  • Contribute to creating marketing materials for events and research-related activities.

  • Update digital platforms including corporate website and social media accounts.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in business, events management or a related field.

  • At least 2 years of administrative experience preferably in a research or academic environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with some knowledge of digital and social media communication tools preferred.

  • Strong organisational skills attention to detail and meticulousness.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

  • Ability to learn quickly and work efficiently under tight deadlines.
