About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Electrical Engineer to join our team at Michael Page International Pte Ltd. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the design, installation, and maintenance of high-voltage electrical distribution networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for electrical installations.
  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers to oversee the operation and maintenance of high-voltage networks.
  • Perform high-voltage network switching, commissioning, and equipment maintenance, including protection relay testing and underground cable fault location.
  • Develop and implement projects to upgrade existing electrical infrastructure, enhancing the sustainability of port operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and commission electrical infrastructure, ensuring alignment with future operational needs.
  • Drive initiatives to improve energy efficiency and support sustainability goals through electrification and green projects.
Requirements
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Licensed Electrical Worker Grade 9 with at least 2 years of practicing experience at the 22kV voltage level.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in high-voltage electrical distribution network design, installation, and maintenance.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading teams, with the ability to mentor and develop engineers in a high-stakes environment.
  • Proven track record in managing complex projects, particularly in infrastructure upgrades and electrification.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills, particularly in high-voltage systems, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
