About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Delivery Manager to lead the rollout of key transformation projects in the APAC region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of projects, driving business growth, and delivering exceptional results.

Key Accountabilities
  • Customer Focus: Champion a customer-centric culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
  • Project Management: Participate in the project management process, contribute to project deliverables, and communicate status, business impacts, and changes to team members, business partners, sponsors, and other stakeholders.
  • Testing and Implementation: Support testing activities, review and provide input to testing strategies and plans, and participate in complex testing efforts.
  • Implementation Support: Coordinate implementation support activities, ensure proper communication, documentation, delivery, and follow-up.
  • Liaison and Communication: Act as the primary liaison between PMO, Project team, and Business stakeholders, ensuring successful application implementation, including planning, data conversion, application configuration, process workflow analysis, enhancements, quality assurance, user documentation, training, and ongoing production support.
  • Risk Management: Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
  • Operational Excellence: Actively pursue effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank's Values, its Code of Conduct, and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to, and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions, and conduct risk.
  • High-Performance Environment: Champion a high-performance environment and contribute to an inclusive work environment.
Requirements
  • Proven Track Record: Proven track record of delivery of complex projects.
  • Analytical and Organizational Skills: Extensive analytical and organizational skills, including the proven ability to adapt to a dynamic project environment.
  • Finance and Banking Experience: Experience in Finance, Banking space.
  • Vendor Management Experience: Proven Vendor Management Experience.
  • Complex Application Data Models: Ability to understand complex application data models and functional process flows.
  • Leadership Experience: Experience in leading teams while being hands-on.
  • Rollout and Implementation Experience: Experience managing rollout and implementation of multi-location platforms such as Core Banking in APAC.
  • Business/Technical Analysis Experience: 12+ years' experience in business/technical analysis or process re-engineering with experience leading analysis on complex business/technical initiatives.
