Event Curator Position

The Gardens by the Bay is seeking a highly skilled and experienced event curator to join our team.

About the Role

This role will involve planning, implementing and overseeing a year-round calendar of events, including festivals and programmes that attract new and repeat visitors to the Gardens. The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with industry partners to expand existing events, generate new programmes and manage ad hoc events.

  • Conceptualise and plan major projects involving collaboration with external stakeholders and close coordination with internal teams.
  • Develop and execute event strategies that meet business objectives and enhance visitor experience.
Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Plan, execute and oversee large-scale events, ensuring timely delivery and within budget.
  • Festival and Event Conceptualisation: Develop innovative concepts and themes for events that align with the Gardens' vision.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with industry partners, vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate event details and plans to all relevant parties, including staff, vendors and attendees.
Requirements
  • Relevant degree or diploma advantageous.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in leading or curating large-scale festivals and events.
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, execution and problem-solving.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
