**Job Summary:**
The Earth Observatory of Singapore (EOS) at Nanyang Technological University is seeking a highly skilled Research Fellow in Climate Science and AI to manage a funded research project on High-Resolution Heat Stress Maps. The successful candidate will lead the project, coordinate with stakeholders, and organize workshops to disseminate findings.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Investigate datasets from V3 and apply machine learning techniques for hyperlocal downscaling to assess heat stress across Singapore.
- Coordinate with project collaborators to ensure seamless research progress.
- Organize and lead workshops to disseminate findings and engage with relevant communities.
- Communicate effectively with funding agencies and prepare progress reports.
- Lead manuscript drafting and publication efforts to contribute to high-impact journals.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
- Ph.D. degree in atmospheric science/geography/meteorology/environment
- Strong data analysis skills
- Experience in development of spatial models especially land-use regression model
- Experience in machine learning for climate applications
- Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary environment
