Job Overview

We are seeking a Laundry Assistant to join our organization in Singapore. As a Laundry Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks related to laundry processing, including sorting, pressing, and packing garments.

Main Responsibilities
  • Inspect laundry for stains and damages prior to wash
  • Sort, record/photograph, and tag laundry for dry clean and laundry
  • Use computer to tag the garments
  • Steam, iron, and blow garment using commercial pressing equipment
  • Operate machines to aid in the pressing & ironing process
  • Carry out quality checks on garments
  • Pack garments according to instructions
  • Hang and/or fold garments according to instructions
Requirements
  • No experience required; training will be provided
  • Teamwork
  • Excellent attention to details
  • Keen eye for material damages and discrepancies
  • Able to read/write and communicate in basic English
  • Integrity
  • Able to use computer for Clothes Checker & Detailer (training will be provided)
