Job Title: Senior Cell Leader

Pratt & Whitney is a world leader in the design, manufacture, and service of aircraft engines and auxiliary power units. We are seeking a Senior Cell Leader to join our team in Singapore.

Job Summary:

The Senior Cell Leader will be responsible for managing the operations of the Aero-Engine Component Repair Cell and leading a team of up to 20-30 technicians. The successful candidate will achieve operational targets, execute Smart Factory implementation, and drive transformation and enhancement in the cell.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the operations of the Aero-Engine Component Repair Cell and lead a team of up to 20-30 technicians.
  • Achieve operational targets such as eTAT, OTD, HPP, productivity, utilization, reduce overtime, absentee control, and skills matrix.
  • Execute Smart Factory implementation and drive transformation and enhancement in the cell.
  • Allocate manpower and resources, including overtime management and indirect/direct charge to maximize productivity.
  • Manage and report production outputs and sales targets.
  • Provide effective communication across the cells, leadership development, and performance feedback to the shop floor employees.
  • Review staffing and training needs, including performance, salary, and career appraisal, as well as hiring, retaining, and developing new talent.
  • Provide mentorship and direction to close gaps multi-functionally.
  • Interface with other departments such as Engineering, Quality, Finance, Customer Service, HR, and Materials to achieve cell goals and company objectives.
  • Standardize operational metrics, reporting, and monitoring performance.
  • Participate in audits and inspections as and when required.
  • Lead productivity and CORE projects to reduce cost, improve quality, and cycle time.
  • Support and participate in EH&S programs and activities within the company.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Min 3 years' experience in production, operations, or manufacturing with supervisory role.
  • Engineer with interest to explore an operations supervisory role are welcome.
  • For internal candidate on ESP and Diploma with 5 years' experience can be considered.
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate teams to achieve business goals.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and leadership skills.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
  • Process and detail-oriented, including strong interpersonal and prioritization skills.
  • Lean manufacturing or repair experience with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Experience working with system in SAP is a plus.
  • Relevant experience in Aerospace, manufacturing, or MRO is a plus.
