About the Role

  • Our company is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Commercial and CX team as an Associate. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping clients navigate and extract useful data from our product range.

Job Description:

The Commercial and CX Graduate Program is a 18-month journey that begins with an intensive onboarding process in our London office. During this time, you will be introduced to world-class experts in various commodities and participate in an e-learning curriculum to gain foundational knowledge about the technical aspects of these markets.

As part of the APAC Customer Success Team, you will focus on building a deep understanding of commodity markets, developing essential business-related skills, and learning about various S&P Global Commodity Insights products. You will also have the opportunity to present topics to senior management and receive constructive feedback on your progress.

Throughout the program, you will learn how to use tools such as CI products, Excel add-ins, and CRM systems. You will work closely with a broad range of clients, including governments, investment banks, commodity trading houses, major oil and gas companies, hedge funds, and industry partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help clients understand how to navigate and extract useful data from our product range.
  • Liaise with content, commercial, and technical teams to address client queries and maintain high standards of data quality.
  • Proactively reach out to clients for face-to-face or virtual training.
  • Conduct research on important issues in energy and commodity markets and present findings to colleagues.
  • Support sales teams with research and proposals.
