Sales Portfolio Manager

As a Sales Account Manager at MARITEC PTE. LTD., you will be responsible for optimizing sales and profit of designated customer portfolios and aligning understanding of customer needs across operations in assigned countries.
You will develop plans and strategies for customer portfolios while capturing and understanding customer needs. This role requires close cooperation with Sales Support, Commercial team, Sales Support, Customer Services, and Credit.
Key Responsibilities- Drive profitable sales growth on existing customers
- Secure new business from existing customers and hunt for new customers
- Build sales pipeline and secure sales growth
- Collaborate closely with Customer Services to secure growth on existing accounts and secure an account team approach
- Collaborate closely with Commercial team to secure that customer deals are profitable
- Together with Sales Manager set and reach ambitious targets for own customer portfolio
- Secure full compliance with CTI-Maritec sales governance for own portfolio
- Ensure accurate and updated information on own accounts in Salesforce
- Contract management, make sure accounts adhere to all terms, including credit
- Develop sales plans for own client portfolio
- Work closely with Commercial team to increase sales and develop strong customer relationships
- Secure multilevel entry points with own accounts
- Implement and follow up on campaigns/offers
- Collaborate closely with Credit team, monitoring and taking corrective actions when needed
- Responsible for ensuring all client accounts have credit approval limits in place in accordance with Credit Policy and DLA
- Responsible for credit collections and credit risk management related to client portfolio
- Ensure accurate and updated information of all client accounts into Salesforce including visit reports, opportunities, projects, feedbacks/compliments etc.
- In-charge of client satisfaction
- Assist marketing including email marketing, seminar/workshop/webinar/exhibition
- Any other administration work required by management and able to travel
- Agreed sales targets
- Designated Accounts sales growth
- Account profitability
- Customer face time (Sales calls)
- Compliance with CTI-Maritec Sales Governance
- Total Accounts Receivable and Customer Credit Time
- Customer credit exposure against credit exposure approval limits
- Overdue debt percentage
- Diploma, Lack of formal education can be compensated by relevant experience
- Preferably international sales experience in Maritime industry
- Experience from negotiating with customers
- Proven communication skills and Experience in negotiation skills and proven track record of establishing and maintaining relationships with customers
- Ambitious and a strong desire for success with a commercial mind-set
- Ability to work independently by planning and organizing own sales work
- Able to meet deadlines through good time management and allocation of priorities
- Highly structured and Results oriented
- Good time management & allocation of priorities
- IT literate, with experience from working with Excel, MS office, CRM systems, business/data analysis
