Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Commodities Trade Accountant to join our team at KEPLER SEARCH PTE. LTD.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial and management accounts on a monthly and quarterly basis, as well as providing variance analysis to senior management. Additionally, they will be involved in the GST process and audit processes, ensuring adherence to all statutory and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Closing of financial and management accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Compilation of profit and loss statements (PnL) and mark-to-market (MTM) reports
  • Providing variance analysis to senior management to inform strategic decisions
  • Supporting the GST process and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations
  • Maintaining robust accounting controls and recommending policies and procedures as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or equivalent
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in Financial Institutions or Trading houses
  • Prior experience in Big 4 firms is a significant advantage
  • Knowledge of ETRM systems such as Allegro or Enuit is required

Salary

The estimated salary for this role is $9-11k per month, based on industry standards and market research.
