Job Description

SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Estimator to join our team at SAMWOH CORPORATION PTE. LTD.

This is a challenging role that requires the ability to estimate construction costs accurately and efficiently, as well as provide expert advice on project-related matters.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the preparation of tender submissions and estimates;
  • Responsible for measuring quantities and cost estimation on various projects;
  • Call quotations, compare prices, and prepare bill of quantities to determine tender pricing;
  • Study contract documents, perform measurements, and prepare Bill of Quantities;
  • Assist in contract administration, prepare progress claims, and liaise with clients on claims and variation costs;
  • Prepare budget statements monthly and review by superiors;
  • Review and verify subcontractors/suppliers' claims and prepare payment certificates;
  • Maintain the quality system within the department;
  • Perform any other duties assigned by superiors or management.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent;
  • Minimum 5-8 years' experience in tendering, estimating, and measurement of quantities on projects;
  • Prior experience in MRT tendering is preferred;
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills;
  • Good negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills;
  • Resourceful, independent, and able to work in a fast-paced environment;

TYPICAL SALARY RANGE: SGD $80,000 - SGD $120,000 per annum
