Project Leader

Lead a high-profile construction project from inception to completion, overseeing the entire lifecycle including mechanical, electrical services, and architectural works.

• Foster effective communication with project stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration among teams.
• Negotiate budgets with sub-contractors on scope of works and final costs, guaranteeing successful project delivery.
• Coordinate project staff, provide direction, and support to project teams, promoting efficiency and productivity.
• Delegate tasks to employees best positioned to complete them efficiently, utilizing their skills and expertise.
• Hold regular client meetings/sub-contractor meetings, prepare weekly reports, and MS project macro and micro schedules for all trades.
• Coordinate, instruct, and update individual services according to specifications, ensuring timely completion and quality results.
• Plan and coordinate between clients, main contractors, colleagues, sub-contractors, and vendors to schedule work sequences, achieving optimal project outcomes.
• Ensure deliverables meet specifications and drawing requirements, maintaining high standards of quality.
• Update as-built drawings according to individual services, reflecting changes and modifications made during the project.
• Ensure team members understand local standards and comply with authority requirements, adhering to regulatory guidelines.
• Responsible for all safety requirements and carry out work with good safety practices, minimizing risks and hazards.
• Review and monitor submission of materials and drawings, verifying compliance with project specifications.
• Identify possible technical problems and propose solutions, driving innovation and improvement.
• Carry out pre-inspection with trades sub-contractors, ensuring quality control measures are in place.
• Prepare Operational Maintenance manuals, providing essential information for future reference.
• Oversee testing and commissioning according to standards and client requirements, guaranteeing project success.
• Build strong working relationships with clients, fostering trust and cooperation throughout the project.
• Prepare, submit, and ensure variation orders are agreed upon with clients/consultants, avoiding conflicts and disputes.
• Close final accounts with clients and sub-contractors, ensuring smooth project closure and finalization.

Key Requirements:

• Hold a degree in a mechanical, electrical, or architectural discipline, accompanied by 5 years of relevant experience.
• Advantageous to have experience in Architectural discipline, demonstrating specialized knowledge.
• Familiarity with CAD drawing, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project, and MS PowerPoint is essential, showcasing technical proficiency.
• Customer-oriented leadership skills are required, focusing on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Good understanding of construction contracts is necessary, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Experience in Additional & alternation projects/Fit-out work is a plus, highlighting versatility and adaptability.
• CSCPM/Risk Management certification is preferred, indicating advanced knowledge and expertise.
