Site Supervision Specialist

The Resident Architect is a key role responsible for overseeing architectural works, ensuring compliance with approved designs, statutory requirements, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- To guarantee construction works align with approved architectural drawings, specifications, and relevant codes.
- Reviewing shop drawings, material submissions, and method statements related to architectural works.
- To ensure compliance with statutory requirements and collaborate with authorities or QP as necessary for inspections or clarifications.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor workmanship, materials, and progress.
- Preparing site observation reports and non-conformance reports when required.
- Witnessing and verifying architectural tests & mock-ups, finishes, and material installations.
- Collaborating with Resident Engineers (RE), contractors, subcontractors, and consultants to resolve site issues related to architectural works.
- Participating in site coordination meetings and providing inputs from an architectural perspective.
- Ensuring proper interfacing between architectural works and other trades.
- Maintaining up-to-date records of all architectural inspections, reports, drawings, and correspondence.
- Issuing site memos or instructions on behalf of the Architectural Consultant / QP as authorized.
- Supporting preparation of reports for client / consultant reviews.
- Participating in inspections for practical completion and final completion.
- Identifying architectural defects and ensuring rectification works are completed to an acceptable standard.
- Promoting site safety related to architectural works in coordination with the Safety team.
- Ensuring all architectural installations comply with workplace safety requirements.
Requirements:
- A degree in Architecture from a recognized university.
- Registered Architect (or eligible for registration) under the Board of Architects Singapore.
- Familiar with Singapore local codes and regulations.
- At least 5 years of relevant site supervision experience on large-scale projects.
- Proven experience in managing quality and compliance for architectural works.
- Good knowledge of architectural detailing and construction methods.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and exercise sound professional judgment.
- Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD and/or BIM viewing tools.
