Our PPD Laboratory Services team plays a crucial role in enhancing patient health through the expertise of scientists and industry leaders. As a premier organization in the scientific field, our laboratory professionals are dedicated to accuracy and quality, driving innovative solutions.

Work Environment:

This position requires full-time on-site presence, operating Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday, with shifts from 8 AM to 5 PM or 9 AM to 6 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in sample and standard handling, acquiring necessary skills through training.
  • Support the Sample Coordinator and execute administrative tasks within the Sample Management department.
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and fulfill laboratory requests under moderate supervision.

Daily Activities:

  • Conduct various inventory tracking tasks including receipt, check-in, labeling, and transport.
  • Communicate task statuses to supervisors and relevant laboratory personnel.
  • Receive training on SOPs, regulatory standards, and storage protocols.
  • Assist in responding to environmental unit alarms and may participate in on-call duties.
  • Complete daily assignments accurately and safely.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent, with relevant vocational qualifications preferred.
  • Technical roles may necessitate specific certifications.

Experience:

  • Prior experience providing the knowledge and skills necessary for the role (0 to 1 year) or a combination of education and training.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Strong time management capabilities.
  • Ability to maintain precise tracking and documentation according to SOPs.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capacity to work collaboratively within a team.
