About Us

The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) at NTU is dedicated to advancing knowledge and innovation in sustainable built environments. Our research focuses on developing cutting-edge technologies for civil infrastructure systems.

In this role, you will work closely with Asst Prof. Kim, Gun, to develop and implement nondestructive evaluation techniques for civil infrastructures. Your expertise will be applied to enhance the safety and efficiency of Singapore's infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Collecting and analyzing data
  • Designing and conducting lab and field tests
  • Publishing research findings in reputable journals
  • Developing proposals for new research projects
  • Mentoring students and colleagues

Qualifications:

  • PhD degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in nondestructive evaluation, ultrasound, and numerical simulation of wave fields
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
