Logistics Operations Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Logistics Operations Manager to oversee daily courier and delivery personnel operations, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality service for parcel deliveries.

  • Plan, coordinate, and optimize delivery routes and schedules to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Manage and supervise delivery personnel, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
  • Liaise closely with delivery clients to meet service level agreements and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), such as on-time rates, parcel volumes, and customer feedback, and prepare regular performance reports.
  • Implement operational improvements and technology solutions to enhance workflow and productivity.
  • Manage fleet maintenance schedules and driver compliance with licensing and safety standards.
  • Resolve operational issues and escalate strategic concerns to senior management.
