Job Summary:

The Resident Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the construction process, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and maintaining high-quality standards. This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise site works to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulations.
  • Monitor and control the quality of construction materials and workmanship.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address any non-conformities.
  • Collaborate with contractors to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Verify and approve payment claims from contractors.
  • Maintain accurate records of site inspections, quality control, and progress reports.
  • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and contractors.
Requirements:
  • Min. Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in construction supervision.
  • Resident Engineer Certificate accredited by IES/ACES is mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of statutory codes and requirements.
  • Excellent team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
