Job Opportunity

The Legal Manager will play a key supporting role to various project, business and procurement teams overseeing infrastructure projects.

  • Negotiate, draft and review commercial contracts for large-scale infrastructure projects, including construction, engineering, and procurement agreements.
  • Provide legal advice and support throughout the lifecycle of infrastructure projects, encompassing tendering, contract negotiation, and execution phases.
  • Conduct research and analysis on business and legal matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Minimum 7 years post-qualification experience (PQE).
  • Hold an LLB or equivalent law degree.
  • Demonstrated experience in drafting and negotiating large-scale infrastructure project contracts, including civil engineering, construction, and procurement agreements.
  • Familiarity with international standard form contracts, such as FIDIC, JCT, and NEC.
  • Proven ability to handle disputes and claims arising from infrastructure projects, utilizing dispute resolution processes like adjudication, arbitration, and expert determination.

Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Interpersonal skills, enabling effective articulation and conciseness in both verbal and written communications.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, displaying confidence and cultural awareness.
  • Judgment and commercial acumen, with the ability to identify issues and involve relevant experts when necessary.
