Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Imaging SpecialistSalary:

$80,000 - $110,000 per annum

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at MEDI-RAD ASSOCIATES LTD. As a Nuclear Medicine Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nuclear medicine services to patients, working closely with referring physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care.

You will be responsible for conducting quality assurance tests on imaging equipment, ensuring compliance with radiology safety policies, and collaborating with the PACS administrator to ensure accurate study transmission and storage.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide nuclear medicine services to patients as requested by referring physicians or as allowed by statutory regulations.
  2. Familiarize yourself with the usage and correct handling of the imaging equipment.
  3. Conduct necessary quality assurance tests before equipment is used on patients.
  4. Participate in quality improvement projects to enhance work quality.
  5. Work closely with nurses and support staff to ensure patient care is met.
  6. Provide quality customer service to patients.
  7. Ensure compliance with the radiology safety policy.
  8. Collaborate with the PACS administrator to ensure studies are sent and stored correctly.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in nuclear medicine.
  • Degree/Diploma in Radiography or Biotechnology.
