About the Role

This exciting opportunity is open to individuals who are passionate about internal audit and have a strong background in accountancy. As a Financial Auditor, you will be responsible for performing thorough audits of the organisation's financial processes, identifying areas for improvement, and providing recommendations to mitigate risks.

You will work closely with the Deputy Director (Internal Audit) to develop and execute audit programmes, assess risk, and prepare clear and concise reports. Your expertise will be essential in helping the organisation maintain its high standards of governance and control.

What You'll Be Working On
  • Conducting financial audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations;
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls and providing recommendations for improvement;
  • Developing and implementing audit programmes to meet organisational needs;
  • Preparing clear and concise reports for management and the Audit Committee;
  • Providing advisory services on internal audit best practices and risk management.
Your Background
  • Degree in Accountancy or equivalent qualification;
  • At least 3 years' experience in internal audit or external audit;
  • Strong knowledge of principles of governance, risks, and controls;
  • Excellent analytical skills, with ability to evaluate risks and improve governance processes;
  • Good verbal and written communication skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Highly organised, with strong time management and prioritisation skills.
About the Salary

The salary for this role is approximately $85,000 per annum, based on national averages and industry standards.
