Quality Assurance Manager

VDL Enabling Technologies Group (Singapore) Pte. Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement quality assurance processes to ensure manufacturing quality meets internal and customer specifications and requirements.
  • Lead a team of inspectors and supervisors to ensure incoming materials meet quality standards.
  • Drive quality assurance process improvement in efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Own Non-Conformities and Error Management Systems, collaborating with Headquarters for system upgrades or changes.
  • Responsible for non-conforming materials disposition and Material Review Board (MRB)/Corrective Action Board (CAB) to drive robust corrective and preventive actions.
  • Responsible for Corrective and Preventive Action Board to drive robust manufacturing system and process quality to meet internal and customer requirements and expectations.
  • Analyze non-conforming quality incidents and internal errors, providing recommendations to meet internal and customer requirements and expectations.
  • Support Customer Quality Engineering to investigate customer product complaints.
  • Responsible for manufacturing quality KPIs and reporting to senior management.
  • Lead a team of engineers to drive NPI and First Article quality requirements and system.
  • Provide leadership and consulting advice in quality matters.
  • Plan and lead manufacturing process audits.
  • Lead, train, develop, and coach Quality team members, managing performance evaluation and strengthening the organization.
Qualifications and Experiences:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Quality, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Chemical) or Material Science.
  • 10 years of experience in MNC, at least 5 years as a professional quality manager/leader in the manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge and practice in 8D, SPC, MSA, FMEA, QFD, 6-sigma methodology, PPAP, change management.
  • Experienced QMS (ISO9001, IATF16949) auditor.
  • Good understanding of First Article Inspection requirements and expectations.
  • Good understanding and experience in supplier quality management.
  • Strong in statistical knowledge and 6-sigma methodology, Certified Black Belt preferred.
  • Strategic, creative, and systemic thinking.
  • Excellent leadership and effective communication with all levels of associates and management.
