COURTS (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the financial reporting and analysis of our business operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
    • Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to management on business performance
  • Financial Planning and Budgeting
    • Develop and manage financial plans and budgets for the company
    • Monitor and analyze financial performance against budget and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Financial Operations
    • Manage the general ledger and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
    • Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities as required
  • Process Improvement
    • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
    • Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Education and Certification
    • Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
    • Professional certification in accounting (e.g. CA, ACCA)
  • Experience
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting
    • Experience in a retail environment preferred
  • Skills and Attributes
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Proficient in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and financial software
