Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for ensuring operational and design effectiveness of key controls to mitigate risks.

The ideal candidate will have experience in risk, controls, and assurance, with expertise in monitoring and assurance testing. Additionally, proficiency in designing automated QA processes using machine learning and artificial intelligence is required.

The day-to-day activities include:

  1. Assist in executing the QA program, including monitoring and testing reviews on financial crime, bank operations, and customer support.
  2. Plan and execute ongoing monitoring reviews, including report preparation.
  3. Utilize technical skills in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and VBA to design automation solutions for QA processes.
  4. Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes; leverage data analytics to identify emerging risks and future-proof the organization against AML and Sanctions risks.
  5. Engage stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement automated QA processes using machine learning and artificial intelligence.
  • Conduct monitoring and testing reviews to ensure operational and design effectiveness of key controls.
  • Prepare reports and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to identify process improvements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in risk, controls, and assurance.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and VBA.
  • Strong analytical skills using Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Knowledge of MAS regulations on AML/CFT/Sanctions is advantageous.
