Chinese Language Educator

We are seeking a highly skilled Chinese language educator to join our organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering engaging and effective Chinese lessons at the Primary School level.

The successful candidate will be responsible for inspiring children to learn Chinese in a fun and interactive way, utilizing their knowledge of local curriculum requirements to create dynamic lesson plans that cater to the needs of diverse learners.

To excel in this role, the candidate must possess an accurate pronunciation for spoken Mandarin, experience in teaching local Primary School Chinese curriculum, and a warm and cheerful disposition. Weekend work may also be required.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering high-quality Chinese lessons at the Primary School level
  • Inspiring children to develop a love for learning Chinese through creative and engaging teaching methods
  • Maintaining an accurate pronunciation for spoken Mandarin
  • Staying up-to-date with local curriculum requirements and adapting teaching strategies accordingly
  • Displaying a warm and cheerful demeanor when interacting with students and colleagues

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chinese or Education studies
  • Teaching experience at the Primary School level
  • Accurate pronunciation for spoken Mandarin
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
