Senior Product Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technology Analyst to lead the development of new products and solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for innovating with ingredients, flavors, textures, and nutritional profiles to differentiate products in the market.

  • The candidate will plan and carry out daily experiments to decide on and finalise the best formulation for application, new products & solutions.
  • Develop recipes to optimize product functionality for customers.
  • Explore emerging food technologies, novel ingredients, and sustainable processing methods.
  • Share ideas with customers on Japanese food application.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Development of New Products: Plan and execute experiments to develop innovative products and solutions.
  • Recipe Development: Create recipes that meet customer requirements and optimise product functionality.
  • Research and Development: Explore emerging food technologies, novel ingredients, and sustainable processing methods.
  • Customer Engagement: Share knowledge and ideas with customers on Japanese food application.
Requirements:
  • A Master's degree in Agriculture or related field is required.
  • The ideal candidate must have experience as a Team Lead or similar role.
  • Strong Japanese language skills are necessary for effective communication with HQ A&I Centre members.
  • A minimum of 4-6 years' experience in R&D is required.
  • Proficiency in food chemistry, ingredient functionality, and processing technologies is essential.
