Electrical Superintendent

The role of Electrical Superintendent involves overseeing the electrical reliability, regulatory compliance, and cost-effective operations of PIL Fleet vessels through preventive maintenance and cross-functional leadership.

  • Assist in recruitment and training programs for Electro Technical Officers (ETO) and trainees.
  • Develop and implement a mentoring program for junior ETOs and plan the annual training program.
  • Assist with electrical system maintenance and electrical retrofit/modification projects during dry-docking and service as relevant.
Key Responsibilities

As an Electrical Superintendent, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of services provided by shipyards, suppliers, and workshops aligns with regulatory standards and client expectations.

  • Self-driven and resourceful team player with proven communication skills.
  • Seafaring Electrical Engineers with at least 5 years of related managerial experience.
  • Good operational knowledge of electrical maintenance and repairs, investigation of shipboard electrical failures, and compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Analytical, data-driven approach.
  • Moderate communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
