About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Assistant Director in the CAAS Technology Office. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving innovation and technology strategies to enhance Singapore's competitiveness as an international air hub.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop technology and innovation strategies that align with CAAS' strategic priorities and objectives.
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of projects and initiatives to support these strategies.
  • Build stakeholders' confidence and buy-in for projects and initiatives under your charge.
  • Manage projects and initiatives to ensure they deliver the impact and outcomes committed to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Strong strategic and analytical thinking skills to synthesize information, identify options and trade-offs, analyze feasibility and implications, and develop sound and informed strategies.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to influence stakeholders and build buy-in for projects and initiatives.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills to drive project win-win outcomes for stakeholders.
  • Professionalism and confidence in dealing with people at all levels, especially with industry stakeholders and other government agencies.
  • Ability to project manage well with minimal supervision.
  • Self-motivated and a good team player with the ability to build consensus.
  • A positive 'can-do' attitude amidst a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Familiarity with schemes and processes administered by the National Research Foundation, Singapore.
  • Experience in managing R&D or similar programs.
  • Knowledge and experience in the aviation industry, including air traffic management.
  • Experience in managing and delivering projects or initiatives that involve multiple stakeholders.
