Pricing and Data Analyst Role

We are seeking a skilled Pricing and Data Analyst to join our team. As a key member of the underwriting department, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and improving underwriting performance.

In this dynamic and fast-paced environment, you will have the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams, including actuaries, finance, and business stakeholders. Your expertise in data analysis and pricing will enable you to drive strategic decision-making and improve business outcomes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough pricing reviews for new and renewal business, portfolios, and schemes.
  • Monitor pricing trends and provide actionable insights to local and global stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain pricing tools, ensuring usability and alignment with business needs.
  • Support underwriters in applying pricing models and interpreting results.
  • Liaise with actuaries to ensure consistency in assumptions and peer review processes.
  • Analyse market data to identify pricing opportunities and risks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Actuarial Studies or equivalent qualification.
  • Tertiary data science qualification or relevant experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and SQL.
  • Experience in insurance, finance, or related fields.
  • Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and data integrity.
  • Collaborative mindset with experience working across functions.
