Job Title: Welding Quality Assurance Specialist

Responsibilities:
Inspect and evaluate the quality of welded metal components and machined parts to ensure compliance with industry standards and company specifications.
Conduct visual inspections and non-destructive testing (NDT) of welds to identify defects and anomalies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions to improve welding processes.
Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation to track quality performance.
Monitor and maintain equipment used for inspections to ensure optimal functionality.
Conduct internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of quality systems and make recommendations for improvement.
Stay up-to-date with industry advancements in welding and machining technologies to enhance knowledge and skills.

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent in a related field, such as mechanical engineering or a technical discipline.
Certification as a Welding Inspector is highly desirable but not required.
Minimum 2 years of experience in quality assurance or inspection roles, preferably in the metal or machining industry.
Strong understanding of welding processes and techniques.
Familiarity with NDT methods and inspection tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues and management.
Able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve shared goals.
Willingness to relocate to the East region of Singapore for this role.
