Role Overview:

The Senior Quality Control Technician is responsible for delivering quality assurance support through the timely inspection and verification of materials, products, and processes within the Asia Distribution Centre (ADC) and Global Repair Centre (GRC). This role is crucial for achieving compliance and fostering continual quality improvement objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct acceptance activities for products and processes based on approved specifications and documentation as outlined in the respective Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). This includes:

  • Incoming inspection of raw materials and inbound shipments
  • Reviewing quality issues related to inbound shipments
  • Outgoing inspection of finished goods
  • Assisting in the calibration control of testing equipment

2. Compile and maintain inspection records, including approved Certificates of Compliance (COC) and Certificates of Analysis (COA), to ensure traceability and demonstrate product compliance, as well as to provide data for customer complaint analysis by the QA/QC Engineer.

3. Provide management with quality data and trends regarding product performance in relation to customer requirements by monitoring:

  • Non-conforming materials
  • Outgoing products from ADC and GRC
  • Return Manufacturing Authorizations (RMA)

4. Engage in ensuring that systems and procedures comply with standards such as ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO13485, ISO14971, FDA 21CFR Part 820, ISO 45001, and the Medical Device Single Audit Program (MDSAP).

5. Assist in the preparation for audits.

6. Support plant-wide initiatives and special projects as assigned.
