We are seeking a seasoned professional to oversee our tyre management programme. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and want to be part of a dynamic team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of tyre technicians, storekeepers, administrators, and contractors at multiple operating sites. Their key responsibilities include ensuring daily tyre measurement, changing, and store management work are performed in accordance with agreements with SMRT Buses, liaising with Bus Workshop for PM and CM tyre services, and maintaining accurate records and data using internal management systems or software like Microsoft Excel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure daily tyre measurement, changing, and store management work are performed accordingly to agreement with SMRT Buses.
  • Liaise with Bus Workshop for PM and CM tyre services.
  • Ensure Tyre within the tyrestore meeting the minimum storage quantity and are accounted.
  • Ensure Tyre condition in store are safe to use.
  • Ensure all section members know their job scope well.
  • Conduct morning briefing, take staff attendance, and inform officer in-charge if any staff is absent without official leave.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in automotive industry especially tyre related work or service is an advantage.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Able to read, write, and communicate in English.
